I know not everyone enjoys being outdoors during the winter. When I hit the trails, there are hardly any people that I pass. Winter is a great time to grab those board games, dust them off and have a family game night, or even a get together with friends. My go-to board game brand is Big Potato Games. Here’s 3 board games I highly recommend for a night in.
- Herd Mentality is a great party game, where you want to be part of the herd instead of the odd one out. If your answer is the odd one out, you’ll be given the pink cow and you don’t want that. The aim of the game is super simple: think like the herd and write down the same answers as your friends which leads you to win a cow. However, If your friends answer the same but your answer is the odd one out, then you land the angry Pink Cow. The first player to collect eight cows wins.
You can either play this game by being on teams or one-on-one play. Make sure you have this game in your collection, where you bid and flip your way to sweet victory with the chicken and hot dog which have suction cups at the bottom of them.
They give you the first half of a Internet search result, in which you have to guess the top 10 search results. Each guess gives you a wide range of points depending on top results. You get two guesses, which you must rank. The more popular your guess turns out to be, the more points you’ll win, with a bonus if your top guess is also the top result. After just five rounds, points are tallied to determine a winner.
